Baked Rice Pudding

  • 1/2 C. White Rice
  • 1 quart Milk
  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine rice, milk, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake about 2 hours, or until rice has softened. Remove cover and bake a few minutes longer. Serve with cream if desired.

Makes 8 servings.
