Apple Crisp

Crust

  • 1 Egg
  • 2/3 C. Milk
  • 2 1/2 C. Flour
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 C. Shortening

Beat egg in a measuring cup and add milk. Mix in flour, salt, sugar, and shortening. Blend like pie crust. Roll out half of the dough. Lay in 8″ square pan.

Filling

  • 2 C. Corn Flakes
  • 8-10 Apples, sliced
  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
  • White of 1 Egg

Pour corn flakes over bottom crust, Add apple slices over corn flakes. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Roll out top crust and place on top of apples. Make slits. Brush beaten egg white over top crust. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
