- 3 Cups Water
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1 Can (46oz) Pineapple Juice
- 1 1/2 Cups Orange Juice
- 3 Ripe Bananas, Mashed
- 3 Quarts Sparkling Water
Mix water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in fruit juices and bananas. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze solid.
To serve, remove trays and let them stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes until fruit mixture softens. Break up into chunks. Fill tall glasses halfway with sparkling water and fill the rest with the fruit mixture.
The recipe makes about 6 quarts, or 24 servings.
