- 1 quart Strawberries, whole
- 3 oz. Cream Cheese
Glacé
- 1 C. Strawberries
- 1/2 C. Water
- 1 C. Sugar
- 3 tbsp. Corn Starch
- 1/3 C. Sugar
- 1/3 C. Water
Simmer strawberries and water for about 3 minutes. Blend together remaining ingredients and add to strawberry mixture and boil for one minute, stirring constantly. Cool.
Spread cream cheese over a cooled, baked pie shell. Save 1/2 cup of choice berries. Place remaining 2 1/2 cups berries over cream cheese layer. Cover with cooked berry mixture. Garnish with whole berries. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
