Raisin Drop Cookie

  • 1 C. Butter
  • 1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 C. Flour
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 C. Raisins (cover with water, simmer, cool)
  • 1 C. Nuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

Cream butter and brown sugar well, then add eggs. Beat until light. Slowly add dry ingredients and flavoring. Mix in raisins and nuts. Drop rounded teaspoonfulls of dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
