Nile Salad

  • 1 6 oz. package Lime Jello
  • 1 1/3 C. Hot Water
  • 2 C. Creamed Cottage Cheese
  • 2 C. Crushed Pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 C. Walnuts
  • 2 C. Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 C. Sugar

Thoroughly dissolve gelatin in hot water. Let cool only until slightly thickened. Whip cream and add sugar. Whip gelatin and combine with whipped cream. Whip together Mix in cottage cheese, pineapple, and nuts. Pout into 9″ x 13″ pan and chill until set.

Can add horseradish for different taste, however Grandma never did this.
