- 1 1/2 pints Strawberries
- 1/2 pint Strawberries (for glaze)
- 1/2 C. Sugar
- 1/2 C. Water
- 1 tbsp. Corn Starch
- 2 tsp. Butter
- 10 drops Red Food Coloring
Slice and place 1 1/2 pints strawberries in a baked, cooled pie crust.
For the glaze, crush the remaining strawberries and combine with sugar and corn starch in pan. Add water. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir constantly until thickened. Add butter and food coloring. Cool. Pour over fresh strawberries. Top with Cool Whip.
