  • 1 1/2 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk Celery, chopped
  • 1 Green Pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (2 1/2 lb.) Tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz.) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 C. Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 2 tsp. Sugar
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 package Elbow Macaroni
  • 10 oz. package Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Cook macaroni. Brown meat. Sauté onion, celery, and green pepper. Combine all the ingredients except for the cheese. Lay slices of cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is lightly browned.

Note: Granddaughter Linda said that grandma would substitute the 8oz. can of tomato sauce with a can of Campbell’s Tomato Soup.
