- 4 tbsp. Butter
- 2/3 C. Water
- 3/4 C. Wheat Flour
- Scant C. Thick Cream
Melt butter and cool. Mix water and flour until smooth. Whip cream. Add butter to flour mix and then cream. Heat the waffle iron. Pour in the batter a little at a time and bake.
Serve with jam or berries and whipped cream or ice cream.
Traditionally, Christmas Dinner (Middag) is served on Christmas Eve. It is also the time gifts are exchanged.
