‘Crazy’ Chocolate Cake

  • 1 1/2 C. Flour
  • 1 C. Sugar
  • 3 Tbs. Cocoa
  • 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • 6 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tbs. White Vinegar
  • 1 Tbs. Vanilla
  • 1 C. Cold Water or Coffee
  • 4 Milk Chocolate Bars or Confectioner’s Sugar

Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt into ungreased, unfloured 9″ x 13″ pan. Make 3 holes in the dry ingredients and pour oil, vinegar, and vanilla each in different holes. Pour cold water over all and mix with a fork until just blended. Bake 375 deg. for 30-35 minutes. Place candy bars on hot cake and spread or dust with Confectioner’s Sugar.
