Nothing tastes better than Swedish Dill Potatoes.
Scrub new potatoes clean and drop into boiling salted water together with sprigs of fresh dill. Cook covered over moderate heat until tender (15 minutes). Test with toothpick. Drain off water and let steam escape. Serve at once.
To cook the larger winter potatoes, select potatoes of the same size and scrub clean. If desired, peel before cooking. Add water to cover and 2 tbsp. of salt for each 2 pounds of potatoes. Bring to boil, cover, and turn down the heat. Simmer about 20 minutes. Drain well and let steam disappear. Serve at once.
